Unveiling Ceremony of PolyU Patriotic Education Base (Hong Kong)

PolyU has established “The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Patriotic Education Base” with Xi’an Jiaotong University, enabling staff and students to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, the Nation’s century-long efforts in modernisation and remarkable achievements in the new era. The initiative will also strengthen the sense of national pride and belonging to the country of the PolyU community. PolyU is also the first university in Hong Kong to set up a demonstration base for patriotic education in Chinese Mainland. The University remains committed to nurturing socially responsible young people with a strong sense of national pride and a global perspective, contributing to Hong Kong’s better integration into the Nation’s overall development.
