PAIR Public Seminar: An Entrepreneur's Perspective on Surgical Robotics and Telemedicine, and their Convergence (只有英文版本)

Dr Wang Yulun earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1988. He is a Fellow at Teladoc Health, contributing to various R&D initiatives and the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts. Dr Wang is the Co-founder and Chairman of Maxcess Health, which is working to enable broad-based telesurgery. He is also the Co-founder and Chairman of World Telehealth Initiative, a non-profit that uses volunteer clinicians and telemedicine to deliver sustained healthcare expertise to impoverished areas of the world.
   
Dr Wang is the author of 50 plus technical publications and an inventor of over 200 patents. He received many awards, including the 2017 IEEE Medal for Healthcare Innovation, and was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2011.

Dr Wang Yulun has been actively working at the forefront of the surgical robotics and telemedicine industries for the past 30 years.  During this seminar, he will describe the evolution of these technologies and marketplaces and offer insights into how they will continue transforming healthcare delivery.
