Summary
How much does a professor’s startup worth? How much should each member own?
In this seminar, Dr Jason Sun, Director of Hong Kong X Technology, will share how the investors view research-based startups, debunk some valuation myths, and advise how to communicate with investors effectively.
Meanwhile, Ms Yan Yeung, Partner of PwC Hong Kong, will focus on the shareholding structure of a startup and how it impacts the motivation of team members, fundraising and future development, especially for those who aspire to expand beyond Hong Kong.
Mr Paul Wang, Senior Manager of KTEO, will talk about PolyU’s support to research-based startups.
