(CoP) Using COIL to enhance your students' critical thinking and broaden their intercultural knowledge

Theme: Technology in Education
Specialisms: Internationalisation at Home (I@H)
Facilitator: Dr Eric Tsui, ERC/EDC
Date: 26 Jun 2025
Time: 12:45 PM - 2:00 PM
Venue: Online via Zoom

Critical thinking and intercultural knowledge are consistently rated as two of the most important skills for graduates in a globalised society yet international programmes typically only benefit a small proportion of students. Attend this seminar to learn how PolyU teachers use Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) to plan and operate activities that enhance the above skills and knowledge for ALL students as well as tap into the recently compiled PolyU "Body of Knowledge" on COIL to facilitate your planning and conduct of such activities.

This activity is jointly organised by CoP on Online Learning and Teaching and EDC.

EDC Coordinator: Eric Tsui
