The extensive use of PowerPoint (and other presentation software) in the classroom presents teachers with an underlying pedagogy which may either support or undermine their own teaching. This workshop gives a very brief overview of the theoretical underpinnings of PowerPoint, considers the relation between uploaded, downloaded, and delivered material, and offers strategies for improving the use of supplemental slide-ware.
