In a hybrid model of teaching required by our university, all students can choose to attend their classes in person or online, so instructors need to take care of online and in-person participants simultaneously. The blended teaching design enabled me to go beyond the constraints such as COVID-19, limited interactions, and even weather conditions.

As the core part of blended learning, I provided pre-class videos with scripts for the text content to flip the classroom and have more time to conduct interactive activities such as action-based learning, case discussions and practice the PolyU’s focused framework.
