I have been applying a “Student-centred, Experiential learning & Engaging Real Client & Field Expert” teaching approach as the core value and method of teaching to recognize the uniqueness of each student and provide them with exposures to effective helping professional practices in day-to-day life, particularly in social work and counselling related aspects.

The key is to remain open-minded and proactive in adopting this teaching approach. I have been dedicated to designing tailor-made role-play exercises among students and providing my live demonstrations in classes. In addition to conducting experiential role-play exercises, real industry clients and experts are invited to deliver the live demonstrations and provide direct advice to students. Most of the role plays and demonstrations are videotaped, not only to facilitate students’ learning, but also to serve as future teaching resources.
