PolyU ranks 75th globally in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2021, with six disciplines ranked among the world’s top 50 in QS WUR by Subject 2020.

With over 80 years of proud tradition, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) ranks among the world’s top 100 institutions. Six disciplines ranked among the world’s top 50 in QS University Rankings by Subject 2020.

The university rose 16 places to the 75th position in the QS World University Rankings 2021 where institutions are ranked according to their academic and employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, research impact and internationalism performance.

In the QS University Rankings by Subject 2020, PolyU has achieved commendable results, with Hospitality and Leisure Management holding 7th place; Art and Design holding 15th place; Civil and Structural Engineering holding 19th place; Architecture/Built Environment holding 22nd place; Nursing holding 31st place; Linguistics holding 45th place; all among the world’s top 50 in QS by subject rankings.

These remarkable QS subject ranking results testify to PolyU’s academic excellence as a world leader in a number of disciplines. The University will further develop its reputation as a university that excels in education, research and innovation, making even greater contributions for the well-being of society.
