Project Title
Eye disease examination device: corneal topography, OCT, fundus electronic magnifier

Synopsis

To design and develop multiple eye disease examination devices, targeting on comprehensive testing from anterior ocular segment to retina for early diagnosis and regular monitoring.

Common eye disorders and diseases include keratoconus, dry eye, cataract, glaucoma, refractive error, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and more. To effectively monitor these conditions, various devices are used to provide essential information. These devices include corneal topography for corneal mapping, anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) for cross-sectional views of the anterior segment, optical biometer for measuring biometric parameters, fundus camera for capturing fundus images, and more.
