Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronic Systems and Internet-of-Things with a Secondary Major in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics

Curriculum

Year One: all students will embark on a Common Year One curriculum within the Faculty of Engineering. 

Year Two: Basic Circuit Analysis and Electronics, Fundamentals of Machine Intelligence, Introduction to Internet of Things, Logic Design, Linear Systems, Mathematics and Industrial Centre Training. 

Year Three: Communication Fundamentals, Computer System Fundamentals, Data and Computer Communications, Database System, Dynamic Electronic Systems, Microcontroller Systems and Interface, IoT Workshop & Project, Wireless and Mobile Systems, Multidisciplinary Manufacturing Project and Technical Elective subjects. 

Year Four: Engineering Management, IoT Security, Service-Learning, Professional Communication subject, Professionals in Society, Capstone Project and technical elective subjects. 

To graduate from the programme, students must complete the Work-Integrated Education requirement, i.e., two weeks of full-time employment within the study period.
