Dr Wilfred Lin received the AI Healthcare accolade at the prestigious Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2025
Dr Lin co-founded HerbMiners Informatics Limited in 2010, in partnership with Alibaba Cloud, received the AI - Healthcare accolade at the prestigious Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2025 for its vital role in powering a groundbreaking clinical decision support platform, Traditional Chinese Medicine Advisor (TCMA) is developed by HerbMiners using Qwen LLM model leverages the model’s advanced NLP and Deep Learning to analyze unstructured medical information such as doctors' notes and herbal prescriptions. Beyond diagnosis and treatment planning, the platform supports the entire clinical workflow. This includes modules for patient management, appointment scheduling, billing, inventory tracking, and telemedicine consultations, all integrated into a seamless interface. HerbMiners TCMA is the market leader in clinical management system.
Dr Lin is the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellow. He received Science and Technology Progress Award from China (2016).
