Five Year 2 undergraduate students from the Department of Computing achieved outstanding results at HackTheEast 2026, one of Hong Kong’s largest student-led inter-university AI hackathons, held from 28 February to 1 March 2026.   HackTheEast 2026 was a hackathon where participants designed, implemented, and demonstrated functional AI solutions to address real-world challenges across all domains, including education, finance, legal, and insurance.
