2026/27 Semester One Subject Registration and Add/Drop Arrangements (including Adjustment before Semester Commencement Period)

(For New Students of Undergraduate Degree Programmes)

2026/27 Semester One will start on 31 August 2026. We are pleased to invite you to register for subject during the Subject Registration Period (and make subsequent changes during the Adjustment before Semester Commencement Period and/or Add/Drop Period, if needed) via eStudent (www.polyu.edu.hk/student). For a smoother experience, we recommend using Chrome browser when logging into eStudent.

 

Key subject registration dates for 2026/27 Semester One

* During the last two days of the Add/Drop Period (i.e. 09.00 of 11 September to 23.59 of 12 September 2026), students of full-time undergraduate programmes can take additional subjects outside curriculum to broaden their knowledge.

Activate Your PolyU Account and Email Account

You are reminded to activate your myPolyU account for communication with PolyU. To do so, please select "NetID Registration" and follow the system instructions. Once you have completed the process, please go to your PolyU Connect email account to initiate your account. If you encounter any difficulties while activating your account, please contact the hotline of Information Technology Services Office (ITS) at (852) 2766 5900, or WhatsApp/WeChat at 6577 9669.

 

Please also update your contact information (e.g. your Hong Kong mobile phone number and your correspondence address) via eStudent > My Profile > Personal Details so that the university could contact you when necessary.

 

MTR Student Travel Scheme

If you are a full-time student aged 25 or below and wish to apply for the MTR Student Travel Scheme, please refer to the notice for detailed arrangements near mid-August.
