Examination Timetable and Arrangements

Examinations, if required, are normally held at the end of the semester. Please refer to the Academic Calendar on the website of Academic Registry for the examination periods. A notice will be put up on eStudent and the University Portal about six weeks before the examination period of Semesters One and Two (two weeks for the Summer Term) advising you to check your examination timetable. Students should watch out for the notice nearer the time and check your examination timetable accordingly.

If any of your examinations is/are missing from your examination timetable, please contact the General Office of the relevant Departments.

Students to note

Open Student Handbook

Sit according to seating plan
Bring Hong Kong ID card and PolyU student card for attendance taking
Place all personal belongings under your chair
Turn off all electronic devices and place them under your chair visible to invigilators
Seek approval for getting personal belongings
Seek approval for washroom requests and sign log sheet

No photos or videos taking at the examination hall/classroom
No exit before the examination commences
No exit in the first 30 minutes and last 15 minutes after the examination commences
No reading or working on the examination question paper until instructed by the Invigilator
No unauthorised materials
No electronic devices (except approved calculators)
No food or drinks inside examination venues
No cheating or misconduct
No access to Blackboard
No personal belongings (e.g., pencil case, water bottle, tissue paper) on the desk
