Congratulations to Prof. Wong Wai‑yeung, Raymond, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Clarea Au Professor in Energy, and Chair Professor of Chemical Technology, on his election as a Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society (FCCS)!

Established by the Chinese Chemical Society in 2019, the FCCS selects no more than 50 fellows annually. It aims to encourage members to pursue excellence in scientific and technological innovation while advancing the sustainable development of China’s chemical industry. As the highest and most prestigious membership grade of the Chinese Chemical Society, this fellowship recognises scholars who have made systematic, original, and impactful contributions to chemistry and its interdisciplinary fields, as well as outstanding service to the advancement of the chemical sciences.

This prestigious honour is a strong testament to Prof. Wong’s distinguished academic leadership, pioneering research achievements, and exceptional contributions to the development of chemistry. We extend our warmest congratulations to Prof. Wong on this well‑deserved recognition!
