Dr Allen Cheong Awarded HK$8 Million Research Impact Fund

The project “Improving vision and quality of life in patients with glaucoma using non-invasive brain stimulation and perceptual learning: A Randomized Clinical Trial” led by Dr Allen Cheong, Associate Professor, has been awarded a HK$8 million funding under the Research Impact Fund 2019/20. The research team will conduct a multi-arm randomized clinical trial to determine the effectiveness of non-invasive brain stimulation & perceptual learning for vision restoration in glaucoma patients, and whether a combination of various treatments is more effective.
