Information Seminar of Doctor of Optometry Programme

The Doctor of Optometry (DOptom) is the first of its kind in Hong Kong— a professional doctorate in optometry designed to enhance their clinical knowledge and skills through advanced coursework and research in areas of professional significance. It equips graduates with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to lead in the optometry profession. This 49-credit programme available in full-time (2.5 years) and part-time (5 years) study modes, comprising 24 credits of coursework component, 24 credits of research component, and 1 credit in Academic Integrity and Ethics (AIE) component.
