Short Description

 
Dr Xiaoyu Huo received her BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), MRes degree in Green Chemistry: Energy and the Environment from Imperial College London, and PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from PolyU.

Dr Huo’s research focuses on electrochemical energy conversion and storage technologies. She is particularly interested in redox flow batteries, fuel cells, and water electrolysis. She is also interested in the design and optimization of electrodes, membranes, and other electrochemical cell components for high-performance energy conversion and storage systems.
