Wind Tunnel Laboratory
The wind-tunnel laboratory is equipped with a low-speed, closed-loop wind tunnel with a test section of 2.4 m (length) × 0.6 m (width) × 0.6 m (height) and a maximum wind speed of 30 m/s. The wind tunnel is used for teaching as well as research into flow control, fluid-structure interaction and turbulent flows. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a particle image velocimetry (PIV) system with a double-pulse laser, a hot-wire system, a 6-component force measurement system, a 64-channel pressure scanner and a differential pressure system.
