Dr. Yingling Mao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University in 2025. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from the Zhiyuan Honors Program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2018. Her current research interests include distributed quantum computing, quantum networks, edge and cloud computing, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and network optimization. Her work has been published in top-tier conferences and journals, including INFOCOM, ICDCS, GLOBECOM, IWQoS, SECON, TON, TMC, and TC.
