EEE successfully concluded the Research Student Gathering 2025/26 cum Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition on 13 May 2026. The event commenced with an opening address by Prof. Kenneth Lam, Director of Research Postgraduate Studies (DoRPgS). A total of 38 participants presented their innovative research to a diverse audience of academic staff, postdoctoral fellows, and postgraduate students.
Following the oral presentations and a lively assessment panel discussion, the top three performers were selected based on the highest scores. Additionally, a People’s Choice Award was determined by an audience ballot. Prof. Chung Chi-yung, Head of Department, announced the winners and presented the awards. The top winners from this departmental round will be nominated to represent EEE in the Faculty of Engineering’s 3MT® Competition.
