Biography

Dr Muhammad TAYYAB is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of computing. He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from University Teknologi Malaysia in 2020. Prior to that, he completed his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from HITEC University in 2013 and his Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Bahauddin Zakariya University in 2008.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Dr Tayyab has taught computing subjects at various national and international universities including National Superior Institute of Science and Technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Malaysia), HITEC University (Pakistan), SIMAD University (Somalia), and NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (Pakistan).

Dr Tayyab's academic and professional pursuits are centered around his research interests in cutting-edge technologies. He has a keen interest in the IoT, Embedded Systems, Programming languages, and computer networks. His research work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, international conferences, and a Springer book. According to Thomas Reuters, his research has an overall impact factor of 10+, and it has been cited more than 74 times according to Google Scholar.

Along with his academic pursuits, Dr Tayyab also has over 2 years of experience as an R&D engineer in industry. He has completed over 20 industrial and academic projects covering a range of emerging technologies such as Smart City, Smart farming, IoT, Blockchain, and cloud computing. Furthermore, he holds several computer networking certifications including CCNA, CCNP, and JNCIA-ER.
