Visit - Tsinghua University

On 21 January 2025, a delegation composed of staff members and undergraduate students from Tsinghua University visited COMP. The group visited the Research Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RC-DSAI) and the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Things (RIAIoT), engaging in meaningful discussions with the research teams about the ongoing projects conducted at PolyU. Students from Tsinghua University were enthusiastic about discussing the research efforts and exchanging ideas with the PolyU teams.

During the visit, Prof. Ken YIU, our Professor and Associate Head (Teaching & Learning) and Prof. LI Bo, our Assistant Professor, provided an overview of the department, detailing the postgraduate opportunities available at COMP. The student representatives from the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University also introduced the overview of their university and shared their study experiences. 

This visit offered an excellent chance for students and staff from both PolyU and Tsinghua University to deepen their understanding of each other, laying the groundwork for future collaboration.
