On 18 September 2025, the Capstone Project Seminar welcomed an impressive turnout of 173 final-year students, marking the commencement of a significant phase in their academic journey. The seminar was led by Dr Walter FUNG, Associate Professor of Practice and Dr Aquil Mirza MOHAMMED, Senior Lecturer, who provided a comprehensive introduction to the capstone project—a key requirement for graduation.
During the session, Dr Fung and Dr Mohammed outlined the essential components of the capstone project, including the timeline for submitting reports and presentations, the recommended structure, and various research methodologies. Their detailed guidance aimed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully navigate the capstone process.
A highlight of the seminar was the discussion on selecting a project topic. Both lecturers shared valuable insights and practical advice to help students identify areas of interest, assess feasibility, and align their projects with future career goals. The interactive Q&A session allowed students to clarify doubts and seek personalised recommendations. The seminar concluded with encouragement for students to approach their capstone projects with curiosity and a sense of dedication.
