We are proud to announce that Prof. You Dong, Associate Professor of CEE, was honoured with the IASSAR (International Association for Structural Safety and Reliability) Early Achievement Research Award during the 14th International Conference on Structural Safety and Reliability (ICOSSAR 2025), held in Los Angeles, California, USA, on 1-6 June 2025.
This prestigious award recognises outstanding contributions by researchers in advancing the theory and application of structural safety and reliability. Prof. Dong received this honour alongside Prof. Michael Shields (with tenure) from Johns Hopkins University, Associate Prof. Ioannis Kougioumtzoglou (with tenure) from Columbia University, and Prof. Matteo Broggi from Leibniz University Hannover, forming an international cohort of rising leaders in the field. A list of past research prizes and awards is available at: http://www.iassar.net/Data/List/Awards.
Congratulations to Prof. Dong on this well-deserved recognition of his impactful contributions to the field. We look forward to his continued excellence in research related to the reliability, risk and resilience of engineering structures and systems.
