The PolyU Info Day 2026 was successfully held on 10 October 2026 (Saturday). We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the prospective students, parents, and visitors who joined us to explore their future in the field of civil and environmental engineering. A special thank you goes to our dedicated academic staff and student ambassadors for their efforts in making this event a success.
Dr Barbara W.Y. Siu, Senior Lecturer of CEE, delivered comprehensive briefings on our UG programmes, BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering [JS3739] and BEng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development [JS3375]. Attracting over 400 enthusiastic participants, the sessions provided valuable insights on admission requirements, curriculum highlights, and rewarding career pathways. Dr Siu also highlighted the Secondary Major in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA), illustrating how smart technologies and can be applied to civil engineering and infrastructure development.
Attendees also had the unique opportunity to explore our world-class facilities, including the Industrial Centre and Noise & Safety Laboratory, where cutting-edge civil engineering equipment and technologies were showcased, offering attendees a glimpse into modern engineering practice.
