Dr Youtian Wang received his B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Sydney in 2021 and 2024, respectively. He subsequently served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for two years before being appointed as a Research Assistant Professor at the same institution. His research centres on sustainable and resilient steel and composite structures, with a particular focus on advanced materials and emerging construction technologies. Dr Wang is committed to translating fundamental research into engineering practice to enhance the safety, resilience, and sustainability of the built environment.
