Dr Claire Jinhui Li obtained her Ph.D. degree (2019) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from The University of Hong Kong (joint Ph.D. at Department of Environmental Medicine, New York University), her M.Sc. (Master of Medicine) degree (2015) in Toxicology from Sun Yat-sen University, and her MBBS degree (2012) from Shanxi Medical University. Prior to joining PolyU as a Research Assistant Professor, she worked as an Assistant Professor (research-track) at School of Public Health, the University of Illinois Chicago, and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr Li’s research centers on three interconnected areas: 1) environmental and cancer epidemiology; 2) environmental medicine and toxicology; and 3) environmental and occupational exposure–related mechanisms underlying chronic diseases.
