To celebrate the successful completion of the inaugural round of the “ASPIRE” Young Alumni Mentorship Programme, an annual gathering was held on 29 August 2026 during “PolyU Alumni Week”. The event brought together around 40 mentors and mentees to reconnect, reflect on their year-long journey, and share their experiences and achievements.
The event commenced with welcoming remarks by Prof. Cheung Leong, Vice President (Administration and Development) of PolyU. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the more than 170 mentors and mentees from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and overseas for their participation and commitment to building a vibrant ASPIRE community. He also shared updates on the University’s latest developments and academic achievements. During the event, mentors and mentees looked back on their mentoring experiences, recounting moments of growth and highlighting the inspiration they gained from the programme.
