Introduction

The Department of Food Science and Nutrition (FSN), based on the key pillars in Food Safety, Food Technology, Human Nutrition, and Chinese Medicine, meeting the requirements of the growing public awareness of food sustainability and safety. 
 
With the vision of becoming a world-leading department advancing the Food Science and Nutrition industry, FSN is committed to creating societal impacts, training professional talents, leading innovative research, and facilitating knowledge transfer for better public health and well-being of mankind.  
 
With the hope of cultivating our graduates to meet the needs of the ever-changing world and contribute to society, we will update our programmes regularly to follow the pace of social change; actively schedule exchange programmes and organize field visits to prepare our students with international insights; set up the Work-Integrated Education programme to provide on-the-job training to the students and provide consultancy to offer technical solutions to the industry. 
 
FSN will continue to focus on talent grooming, pursue impactful research and maintain a strong partnership with other businesses, industries and associations for translating knowledge into product development.
