Joint Workshop on GRF/ECS Applications for Staff
Events
To facilitate staff members in preparing proposal submission for the 2022/23 GRF/ECS application exercise, the Faculty organised a joint online workshop with the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (FHSS) on 23 September 2021. The workshop was attended by over 90 staff members. Six grant awardees and experienced faculty members, namely Prof. Kathleen Ahrens (Professor, ENGL), Prof. Huang Chu-Ren (Chair Professor, CBS), Dr Kathy Mak (Assistant Professor, CC), Prof. Marco Pang (Professor, RS, FHSS), Dr Gilman Siu (Associate Professor, HTI, FHSS), and Prof. Elsie Yan (Professor, ASS, FHSS), were invited to share with participants their experience in proposal writing.
The session was chaired by Prof. David Shum, Dean(FHSS) (left) and Prof. Li Ping, Dean(FH) (right).
The grant awardees and experienced faculty members were invited to share their views and experiences to other staff members.
