The International Symposium on Cross-Border, Exchange and Transformation of Chinese Opera in the Early Twentieth Century organised by the Department of Chinese Culture, was held via zoom on 27 August 2021.
The Symposium invited internationally renowned scholars from Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Mainland China to share their newest findings of theater history and Traditional Chinese Drama. Around 120 participants attended the conference followed with a lively discussion. The speakers and participants had wonderful interactions and the conference was a great success.
