Biography

Dr Zhen TIAN is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Social Sciences and a member of the Research Centre for Gerontology and Family Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before joining the PolyU, Dr TIAN served as a postdoctoral research fellow at Lingnan University in Hong Kong.

Dr TIAN's research focuses on comparative social policy, with a particular interest in care support and education systems. Her research also encompasses urban governance and regional studies employing quantitative and qualitative research methods. Dr TIAN's work has been published in renowned international journals, including the International Journal of Sociology and Social Policy, the Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice, Frontiers in Psychology, etc.
