Biography

Dr Albe Ng's research is in the field of clinical and health psychology. Her research focuses on the impact of complex developmental trauma on sleep and arousal regulation and its interaction with dissociation. She also explores factors promoting post-traumatic growth and resilience. 

Dr Ng's work has been published in renowned international journals, including Behavioural Sleep Medicine, Journal of Trauma and Dissociation, and Annals of Behavioural Medicine. 

Dr Ng endeavours to enhance the psychological well-being and develop effective interventions of different tiers for children and adult survivors of developmental trauma. She has a strong passion in providing public education on trauma-informed care.
