Biography

Dr Lindan Tan is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  She initially joined PolyU as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She obtained her PhD degree in Public Administration from Sichuan University under the Direct Entry PhD Program, and she received the qualification as an International Scholar from KU Leuven.

Dr Tan’s research interests cover positive youth development, quality of life, leadership development, social policy, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Her work has been published in books and academic journals, including Applied Research in Quality of Life, Frontiers in Psychology, and IDS Bulletin, among others. She also serves as a reviewer for several international journals.
