Celestial Horse: An Interdisciplinary of Civilization Symbiosis along the Silk Road

Presented by the Jiangsu-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance, organised by Nanjing University and supported by the School of Design of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Academic Strategic Partner, Celestial Horse: An Interdisciplinary Narrative of Civilisation Symbiosis along the Silk Road will be open to the public from 1 to 7 November 2026 at Gallery B&C, Jockey Club Innovation Tower, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Centred on the theme of the Celestial Horse, the exhibition is organised into three sections: Visual Construction, Interdisciplinary Encounters, and Digital Silk Road. It traces the evolution of celestial horse imagery from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, showcasing Nanjing University's archaeological and cultural heritage research in the Ili River Valley. The exhibition also features latest projects from PolyU-NVIDIA Joint Research Centre and PolyU Research Centre for Cultural and Art Technology (RCCAT).

Supported by several cultural heritage institutions, including the Museum of Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, the exhibition is free and open to PolyU staff, students and the general public. As the exhibition runs for one week only, advance registration is recommended. 

External visitors are required to register in advance to obtain a campus access QR code.

《天馬：絲路文明共生的跨學科敘事》

由蘇港澳高校合作聯盟推動，南京大學主辦，學術戰策略合作單位香港理工大學設計學院全力支持的限定檔期學術特展《天馬：絲路文明共生的跨學科敘事》，於11月1日至7日於香港理工大學創新樓 Gallery B&C 面向公眾開放。

展覽以「天馬」為核心線索，設置「視覺建構」、「學科交融」、「數字絲路」三大板塊，梳理漢至清代天馬形象的千年流變，展示南京大學在伊犁河谷開展的西域考古、文化遺產保護研究成果，同時展出香港理工大學英偉達聯合研究中心及文化與藝術科技研究中心最新研究與創作項目。

現場展出多項師生原創數位作品，包含AIGC影像、知識圖譜、互動遊戲、草原石人交互裝置、古城數位復原及熱貢非遺數位化項目等，以跨學科視角詮釋絲路文明交往交融歷史。

展覽獲伊犁哈薩克自治州博物館等多家文博機構提供學術支援。展覽免費向校內師生及公眾開放，展期僅為一週，歡迎把握機會預約觀展。
