PolyU-UoE Joint Laboratory of Embodied Haptic Interaction
Our current research portfolio presents interconnected work across wearable haptics, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR). The haptics research builds a foundation for age-appropriate design, utilising embodied co-design to understand how older adults interact with tactile sensations. Building upon this, our immersive technology research bridges haptic experiences with virtual environments, unlocking new possibilities for visuospatial cognitive training, motor rehabilitation, and spatial perception.
