Design is a powerful force, which can be inspiring and empowering. Good designs do much more than make things beautiful; they also create positive experiences. By applying design thinking in different disciplines and industries, designers are perceived to be the silent game-changers of the world and their innovations have a substantial impact on our daily lives.
To demonstrate how the design industry plays an important role in supporting the economic and industrial growth of society, the Alumni Affairs and Development Office and Institute for Entrepreneurship are organising a webinar titled “The Power of Design: Create, Connect, Transcend” on 4 February 2021.
The third round of the Enlighten@PolyU Series, this online event will bring together a group of renowned homegrown designers to share their design journeys in different parts of the world, and to discuss how design can connect and enrich our lives and help shape a better future.
