Using facial identity to access campus main entrance

Effective from 1 January 2025, besides using a student/staff ID card or the time-based QR code from the PolyULife Student Mobile App or the PolyU Staff Mobile App, students/staff can present their faces to the facial detection device at the entrances of Block L , P, A and D for campus access.

Upgrade to Windows 11

Windows 10 will reach the end of support on 14 October 2025. After this date, neither further updates nor security patches will be available, which may make the system vulnerable to security risks. It is recommended to upgrade to Windows 11 as soon as possible.

From Class Collaborate to Zoom: Ensuring a smooth transition for instructors

Blackboard has sold the Collaborate product and related product support will end in June 2025. The 2024-25 Semester 2 will be the last semester using Class Collaborate (formerly Blackboard Collaborate) services.

Use WeChat account login to register for PolyU Conferences and Events

Effective 1 December 2024, external guests who wish to register for the PolyU Research Conferences /Events via the Common Event Management System (CEMS) can use their WeChat accounts, in addition to Microsoft, Google or Apple ID, to log in and register.
