We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of Ms. Chow Yung, a student of the BSc (Hons) in Logistics Engineering and Management (LEM) programme, who received the CILTHK Logistics & Transport Student Final Year Project Award 2026.
Her award-winning Final Year Project, “AI-Powered Crowd Logistics Optimization System for Theme Parks: A Case Study of Ocean Park Hong Kong,” was supervised by Prof. Roy Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE). The project explored the development of an artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted queue analytics system, demonstrating the potential of AI to enhance queue monitoring and improve visitor experiences in theme parks.
The award, comprising a bursary and a certificate, was presented at the CILTHK Office on 29 September 2026. Dr Paul Tsang, Lecturer in ISE, joined the ceremony to congratulate Ms. Chow on this outstanding accomplishment.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Ms. Chow on this well-deserved recognition and wish her every success in her future studies and career.
