Discover Spain Through Virtual Reality – A Joint Activity by EDC and the Minor in Spanish Programme

Participants have lots of fun from different unique virtual experiences in Spain without being physically in the place!
After the success of the VR booth during the Spanish Experience event on 26 October, the Minor in Spanish programme in the Department of English and Communication partnered up with EDC to open up this experience to more participants. At the end of November, for a week every lunchtime, visitors could experience Spain virtually through six videos that took them to the heart of the festival of La Tomatina (tomato throwing) and the San Fermines (bull running), a football match, and guided visits to three of Spain’s cities. Participants were invited to take part in a competition to design the best pedagogical task, based on one of the videos, that could be taken to the classroom.
