SKL_2050x500

About us

Product design becomes more challenging nowadays because of vigorous market change, increasing various requirements on products and involvement of multi-disciplinary knowledge. Integrated Product Design is therefore a solution to cope with the challenge that is about simultaneous consideration of marketing, affective design, human factor, engineering design and various product lifecycle concerns in the product design stage.

Integrated Product Design (IPD) laboratory aims to provide a transferrable platform to our students in the areas of product design and integrated design. This laboratory is well equipped with software tools about CAD, CAE, CAID, product innovation, design for manufacture, design for environment and product data management.
