EEE is delighted to announce that Prof. Li Gang, Sir Sze-yuen Chung Professor in Renewable Energy and Chair Professor of Energy Conversion Technology, has been honored with the Faculty’s Award for Outstanding Achievement (Research and Scholarly Activities) for 2025.
This award recognizes faculty members for exceptional performance and impact. Prof. Li was selected for his pioneering research in next-generation photovoltaic materials, focusing on organic and hybrid perovskite semiconductors for high-efficiency solar cells. The impact of his research is evidenced by his publication of approximately 340 papers, which have garnered over 91,000 citations and an H-index of 105. His sustained scholarly influence is further confirmed by his recognition as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher every year from 2014 through 2025.
