Academic Staff

Dr. Huan Zhao obtained Ph.D. degree in Computer and Information Engineering from CUHK(SZ) in 2020 and joined the Energy Research Institution at Nanyang Technological University in 2021. He currently holds the position of Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests focus on AI applications in energy management and trading. Up to now, he has published more than 50 high-quality papers in international journals and conferences. He has taught the courses BSE4417 Energy Efficient Buildings and Assessment, BSE512 Engineering Intelligent Buildings, BSE542 Energy Efficient Buildings, and BSE577 Research Project.
