The Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering (BEEE) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is delighted to announce that our student, Mr LAM Ka Ho, has achieved an outstanding result in the 2nd International Competition on AI in Education 2026 by AIREA.
LAM’s project, “Tailored Multi-Agent AI Platform Enhancing Flipped Classroom Effectiveness and Cultivating Critical Thinking for Hong Kong Higher Education,” was awarded the First Runner-up Prize in the competition. This remarkable achievement reflects his creativity, dedication, and strong commitment to advancing the application of artificial intelligence in education.
Under the supervision of Prof. Cynthia Hou, LAM shared that the competition was highly competitive, with many teams led by experienced professors and PhD researchers from across the region. He expressed that securing the First Runner-up award among such high-caliber teams was a truly proud moment.
