“HONG KONG FASYNATES 2025: FASHION X SPORTS”, organised by PolyU’s School of Fashion and Textiles, Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Research Institute for Sports Science and Technology, took place on 22 and 23 November 2025 at the Central Square of Kai Tak Sports Park, where the alumni community was invited to join this first-ever urban sports fashion gala.
During the kick-off event, attending alumni enjoyed a vibrant fusion of fashion, sports, and technology. The dynamic programme featured the “Skate to Style” Performance and the “Style in Motion” Urban Sports Fashion Show, along with immersive lighting design by Mr Tino Kwan Wing-kuen, one of the PolyU Outstanding Alumni, which elevated the visual atmosphere of the showcase as a whole.
A designated alumni counter was set up at the venue. Throughout this two-day festival, participating alumni reconnected with their alma mater through on-site exchanges and social media engagement while exploring the intersections of design, sports, and innovation, sharing in a meaningful celebration of community and creativity.
