Invite to Offer Job Opportunities to PolyU Students

17 Jun 2020

STEM Internship Scheme

The Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC), Government of the HKSAR has recently set up a pilot programme namely the STEM Internship Scheme to encourage STEM students gaining innovation and technology (I&T)-related internship experience thereby fostering their interest in pursuing a career in I&T after graduation, and to enlarge the local I&T talent pool.

Under the Scheme, students of ITC-approved STEM study programmes who successfully complete an internship of an I&T-related nature this summer are eligible for the Scheme’s subsidy amounted to HKD10,500 per month for a maximum of 2 months per student intern.

We would like to solicit your support for this Scheme through offering related internship positions to our well-equipped students whose studies are application-oriented.  Details of the requirements and internship arrangements are spelt out in the “Note to Employers”.

We would be very grateful if you could provide internship opportunities for us via this on-line form preferably before 28 June 2020.

Graduate Job Opportunities

Since the global outbreak of COVID-19, PolyU has been making great efforts in providing enhanced career support to our students. In this regard, PolyU is inviting alumni associations, alumni and external partners to provide graduate job opportunities to final year students in order to assist them in starting their careers under the pandemic.

PolyU Job Board is our job portal for PolyU students where employers can post job vacancies and students submit applications according to their professional needs. Employers may use this job posting service by completing and submitting the job request form.
