Summary
Step into an evening of imagination and visual storytelling at “Raman Hui Encounter: Stories Behind Monster Hunt”. The activity features a sharing session by Mr Raman Hui, a PolyU University Fellow, alumnus and this year’s Artist in Residence, followed by a screening of the award‑winning Monster Hunt. Recognised internationally as an acclaimed animator and film director, he will speak about the inspirations that shaped the film and the experiences that guided his journey in bringing stories to life.
Before the screening, join us at Raman’s exhibition “Imagination in Life: Exploring the Art of Animation”, where you can discover the creative paths behind his signature works and experience firsthand the artistry that has guided his animation journey.
Alumni will also enjoy an opportunity to meet Raman in person and take photos with him. The event with multiple elements will offer an inspiring evening for alumni who appreciate film, creativity and visual art. Each participant will receive a special PolyU souvenir as a meaningful keepsake from this creative experience.
