Summary
On 16 April 2026, you are invited to an evening of imagination and visual storytelling at “Raman Hui Encounter: Stories Behind Monster Hunt”. The programme features a sharing session by Mr Raman Hui, a PolyU University Fellow, alumnus and this year’s Artist in Residence, followed by a screening of the award‑winning Monster Hunt. An internationally acclaimed animator and film director, he will share the inspirations behind the film and the experiences that have shaped his storytelling journey.
Before the screening, you are invited to visit Raman’s exhibition “Imagination in Life: Exploring the Art of Animation”, where you can discover the creative paths behind his signature works and experience the artistry of his animation journey. Alumni will also enjoy an opportunity to meet Raman in person and take photos with him.
The multi-faceted event will offer an inspiring evening for alumni who appreciate film, creativity and visual art. Each participant will receive a special PolyU souvenir as a meaningful keepsake from this creative experience.
