Congratulations to our BBA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance student, LAW Chun Kit, Jacky, on being honoured as one of the Top 20 “2025 Hong Kong Excellent University Students” in the “2025 Hong Kong Outstanding University Students Award” organised by the Hong Kong Mingde Association.
The “2025 Hong Kong Outstanding University Students Award”, established in 2020, recognises university students who demonstrate excellence in academic achievements, leadership and community service. The selection process is rigorous, and Jacky was selected from over 300 applicants, which is a commendable achievement.
The award ceremony was held on 10 November 2025. Due to overseas study commitments, Jacky was unable to attend in person. Prof. George Wong, Associate Head of the School of Accounting and Finance, represented the School to witness this proud moment.
Jacky is passionate about integrating technology and finance to drive social innovation. He has held leadership roles in student organisations, developing practical planning skills and gained professional experience through internships at banks and accounting firms. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a career in fintech, applying innovative technologies to enhance everyday life while also striving to improve financial literacy and economic empowerment among youth and disadvantaged communities.
